Brimbank City Council

Brimbank Hard Waste Collection

Each financial year, all residential properties within Brimbank are eligible for one free rubbish collection, this includes:

- 4m³ of hard waste and/or
- 2m³ of green waste

If you would like both 4m³ of hard waste and 2m³ of green waste as part of your one free collection, you will need to fill out both hard and green waste collection forms as they will be picked up separately.

Please complete the below form to book your hard waste collection.

IMPORTANT - Below form is for HARD WASTE COLLECTION, if you would like to book your green waste as part of your one free collection, go to hardrubbishmelbourne.com.au/brimbank-branches.

Your collection will take place between Monday to Friday. Waste is to be ready for collection by 6am Monday morning.

Please place your waste in your front yard, in one defined pile, ensuring that the collection crew has easy access to collect the waste.

Collection items must be easily accessible at the front of your property, within two metres of property entrance and free from obstructions – gates are to be left open and waste cannot be leaning on or touching any items such as cars, fences or buildings.

It is very important to follow the collection guidelines carefully, or your collection may not take place.

How much waste can you put out?

4m³ equals – 4m x 1m x 1m. In feet, this equates to 13ft x 3ft x 3ft.

2m³ equals – 2m x 1m x 1m. In feet, this equates to 7ft x 3ft x 3ft.

Additional hard waste collections can be booked and cost $104.60 per collection; plus $16.50 per tyre, $29.70 per mattress, & $44.00 per fridge/air conditioner. Collection to be booked and paid by credit card over the phone.
